These tendencies and patterns of behaviour can significantly impact various aspects of an individual's life, hindering personal growth, fulfilment, and well-being.  
 
🔹 Avoidance: Avoiding situations or people that trigger memories of the traumatic experience. 
🔹 Self-Isolation: Withdrawing from social interactions and relationships to protect oneself from further hurt. 
🔹 Self-Sabotage: Engaging in behaviors that undermine personal and professional success due to feelings of unworthiness. 
🔹 Perfectionism: Striving for perfection as a means to gain control and validation, stemming from a fear of failure or criticism. 
🔹 People-Pleasing: Prioritising others' needs and desires over one's own in an attempt to gain approval and avoid conflict. 
🔹 Substance Abuse: Turning to alcohol, drugs, or other addictive behaviours as a means of numbing emotional pain. 
🔹 Emotional Dysregulation: Difficulty managing and expressing emotions appropriately, leading to outbursts or emotional shutdown. 
🔹 Codependency: Relying excessively on others for validation and identity, often at the expense of one's own well-being. 
🔹 Self-Destructive Behaviour: Engaging in risky or harmful behaviours as a form of self-punishment or self-soothing. 
🔹 Chronic Anxiety: Constant worry and fear about potential threats, stemming from unresolved trauma. 
🔹 Depression: Persistent feelings of sadness, hopelessness, and worthlessness due to unprocessed childhood trauma. 
🔹 Victim Mentality: Viewing oneself as powerless and helpless in the face of life's challenges, attributing current struggles solely to past trauma. 
🔹 Relationship Difficulties: Struggling to form and maintain healthy relationships due to trust issues and fear of intimacy. 
🔹 Emotional Numbness: Feeling emotionally detached or disconnected from oneself and others as a defense mechanism against pain.

🔹 Difficulty Setting Boundaries: Struggling to establish and enforce personal boundaries in relationships, leading to exploitation and resentment.
